SUMMARY
The Auto Body Technician is responsible for repairing damaged vehicle body parts in accordance with company specifications, processes, and time standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Examine and evaluate damaged vehicles to plan efficient, standards-based repairs.

• Communicate repair status with management and team members through all phases.

• Proactively notify management of issues impacting quality or delivery timelines.

• Maintain tools/equipment in good working order; keep work area clean and safe.

• Consistently wear required PPE (including eye protection) and follow all safety practices.

• Cooperate with teammates on repair and prep work based on schedule and expertise.

• Stay current with and comply with federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., hazardous waste disposal).

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1–3 years’ experience in collision repair with solid knowledge of processes, techniques, and materials.

• Extensive knowledge of vehicle structure and component R&R.

• Strength to lift up to 35 lbs regularly and occasionally 70+ lbs.

• Agility and coordination for climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and balancing.

• Comfortable in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment with strong attention to detail.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION (Preferred)

• Valid Driver’s License (Required)

• I-CAR and ASE Certifications
